PostSubject: Re: Ilegal player (fix all the info below plz)   Ilegal player (fix all the info below plz) I_icon_minitimeSun 14 Nov - 0:40

League rules (example)
1.Important Rules (excerpts from other rule sections)
1.Arranging your Match part of General Rules
Teams must make all efforts to contact their opponents via the Match Forum before Thursday of the match week (PC Leagues). If teams are unable to agree to a match time, the match defaults to Monday 8.30pm. Only in extreme circumstances will teams be allowed to apply for a match extension.

Teams which the League Administrator deems to be purposefully unreasonable or intentionally attempting to force a forfeit will, themselves, face penalties.
2.Drop-Outs part of General Rules
Teams may only drop-out at the end of a leg. Should your team no longer wish to compete in the Do Gaming League, you must notify the League Admin that you wish to drop-out.

Your team will lose all of it's seedings and any subsequent re-entry will mean you start from the beginning (in the lowest division).

Your team may only drop-out at the end of the leg. If you stop playing your matches during the leg, you will be disqualified and will face the penalties associated with disqualification.
3.Disqualification part of General Rules
Your team may be disqualified from the League for any of the following reasons:

■Failing to play 2 or more matches in a single leg
■Fielding a player who has been banned for cheating
■Any repeat offenses after a formal warning has been issued

All players from teams who are disqualified will be banned from competing in any Do Gaming events (including rAge) for a minimum of 8 weeks. Your team will lose its seeded position and will have to re-enter at the lowest division when the ban expires.
4.Ping Imbalance part of General Rules
Players are expected to have an average maximum response time of under 80ms. If your in-game ping is consistently above this value, you must find a substitute for yourself and leave the server.

If you notice that your opponent has an unacceptably high ping, you may politely request that they fix it. They then have 1 round (CSS/TF2) or 3 minutes (BC2/HoN) to correct the problem or they must disconnect from the game. We suggest that you take screenshots of your request and the game scoreboard/latency screen to assist in any dispute(s).
5.Match Problems part of General Rules
Once your match has been booked, your team is expected to be ready to play at the agreed time. Play must start within 15 minutes of the scheduled match time, otherwise the offending team will forfeit the match. We suggest that you and your team test your connection/game 10 minutes prior to the match to avoid delays.

Provided that you are still able to submit your match results by the deadline, teams leaders may agree to postpone/reschedule a match. This should be posted on the match page so that admins are aware of the change and do not force you to forfeit.
6.Substitutes part of General Rules
At no time may you use a non-registered player to represent you in an official league match. It is strongly recommended that teams have at least 2 substitutes (registered on their team roster) who are able to play if one of your players experiences difficulties. If you are not able to provide a registered substitute for your match, your team will be forced to play with the players you have available or forfeit the match.

Teams who use non-registered substitutes in an official league match will have the match overturned. Teams who attempt to deceive admins by using a registered nickname with an unregistered player will be banned.
7.Scoring part of General Rules
All games are scores on a 3/2/1 basis (with round/ticket difference (and then the result of their initial match) deciding tied positions). The winning team is awarded 3 points and the losing team is awarded 1 point. 2 points are awarded to both teams in a draw. Both team leaders must submit their match results (including screenshots) by 11:30pm on Monday or they will receive a 1 point deduction.

In the event that team submit different scores for the same match, the screenshots will be reviewed. If no screenshots are attached, the match will be overturned and both teams will receive a default loss. It is imperative that both teams submit their scores (with attached screenshots) by the deadline to avoid penalisation.

8.Sportsmanship part of General Rules
Players are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all time, giving due respect to all other participants/administrators/spectators. Any action which might bring your team, the league or the league sponsor(s) into disrepute will result in penalties (at the discretion of the Do Gaming League).

Offensive/Trash talk is not permitted during matches or on the Do Gaming League website. During matches, it is recommended that only team leaders communicate with their opponents (other than match etiquette such as "gg" and "glhf"). Accusations of misbehaviour must only be submitted directly to Do Gaming's League Admin. Disputes must not be made public.

Quick Links: Eligibility :: Team Lineups/Rosters :: Server Providers :: Match Bookings :: Cheating :: Disputes 0.General Rules (apply to all players, irrespective of game)0.Player Registration All players who wish to compete in the Do Gaming Online League must have a valid Do Gaming account (signup here). Your profile should be completed as accurately as possible. Players may compete in more than one discipline (i.e. multiple games) and/or for multiple clans. You may only represent one team per discipline.

Players who are currently suspended/banned from the league (for whatever reason) are not permitted to register for the competition (even if using a different account). Registration of more than one Do Gaming account is strictly forbidden.

0.Eligibility The Do Gaming Online League is only open to South African residents.

Parents are encouraged to verify the ESRB rating of the game that their child wishes to play in order to determine whether it is appropriate. Players who were born later than 1st February 1994 are also required to have a Parental Consent Form completed and returned to Do Gaming.

Volunteers who assist in the league are eligible to compete. Do Gaming takes various precautions to ensure that every decision is scrutinised, making it impossible for volunteers to gain an unfair advantage.

Players may compete in more than one discipline (i.e. multiple games), but this will not impact our decision should you request an extension to a match deadline. 0.Late/Abnormal Registrations Late registrations are not accepted. All teams must be fully entered into the competition by 22:00 on the closing date for entries.

Should a team wish to enter the competition after the closing date, they will be added to a waiting list and may be permitted to compete "hors concours" if another team is disqualified.

0.Team Lineups/Roster Locks Team captains are not permitted to change their team line-up during competition legs. Exceptions to this rule apply during the first week of the leg and the "transfer window" (usually in the middle of the leg), where roster locks will be lifted so that they may modify their line-up. Do Gaming may block a player transfer if it deems such action necessary.

When a team roster is changed, the team must maintain at least half the recommended team size (round UP) of the original members of their line-up in order to continue to compete under the same team name. If this requirement cannot be satisfied, the team will be seen to have ben "hijacked" and will be relegated to the lowest division.

0.Server Providers The Default Service Provider is: SAIX Game Service (SGS) 0.Match Results/Bookings Match weeks run from Tuesday to Monday (11:30pm). All matches for the specified week must be played and results submitted by no later than 11:30pm Monday. Results must be uploaded (accompanied by a screenshot) to the Do Gaming website by BOTH TEAMS. This upload facility is available on the match screen.

Do Gaming will release the match roster at the start of the leg. Each week, teams must book with their opponents to play the match at a time which both leaders agree to. Once you have agreed upon a match time a booked a server, you must make a post on the match page so that the admins are aware of the bookin. Teams must make their match booking by no later than Thursday evening.

If you are unable to contact your opponent by Thursday evening, please contact the League Admin immediately. Should your team not make a booking by this deadline, you will be issued a warning. If you fail to meet this deadline again, your team will be penalised.

Do Gaming strongly recommends that you make use of the Match page discussion forum to book your match as all these messages are logged and your opponents will receive an email every time you make a post. 0.Cheating Players who are banned by the Default Service Provider and/or a third-party monitoring tool (such as PunkBuster/VAC2) are not permitted to play in the Do Gaming League. You may appeal this ban by contacting the League Admin. Teams who field banned players in their team lineup (without any exception being granted) will be disqualified instantly.

Do Gaming does NOT operate an anti-cheat service. If you suspect a player is please forward your evidence to the relevant authority (Evenbalance/Steam). These companies have years of experience and vastly more advanced techniques for cheat detection that we do. Please do not submit evidence to Do Gaming. 0.Disputes A dispute occurs when one team wishes to lodge a complaint about another team's actions. Please make sure that you fully understand the rules regarding an incident before lodging a dispute.

All disputes must be lodged privately with the League Admin by email. Any team who makes a complaint/accusation on a public forum will be penalised.

Do Gaming will acknowledge receipt of your dispute within 24 hours and will act on it as quickly as possible.

During a single leg, each team is allowed a maximum of 2 failed disputes (similar to cricket's referral system). If both of your disputes are acquitted, you will not be allowed to lodge any further disputes until the next leg. 0.Media/Interviews By registering for the Do Gaming league, each participant authorises Do Gaming to publish and display his or her name and likeness and any footage, recordings and/or photographs of him or her recorded or taken during this tournament, or any reproduction or modification thereof, in any manner and medium throughout the world for advertising, trade, promotion, exhibition and any other lawful purpose.

Quick Links: Match Progression :: Screenshots/Starting the Match :: Disconnects :: Divisions :: Game Settings Battlefield Bad Company 2 Rules (experimental/BETA Ruleset)Match Progression (Round-Robin)Do Gaming will provide you with the name of your opponent and the map which is to be played. You must contact your opponent and make a match booking (see: Match Bookings). You will play each side of the map once (the team which booked the server decides which side to play first). Tickets are NOT counted - the only possible score outcomes are 2-0, 1-1, 0-2.

Once your players have arrived on the server, you should consult with your opponents as to whether they are ready to start. At half-time, players must switch to the appropriate team, and the match begins again (according to the process below).

A team wins the round when their opponent's ticket count is depleted to zero. A team wins the match if they win both rounds. Starting the Match It is recommended that players take screenshots of their opposition's team line-up. No line-up disputes will be accepted without accompanying evidence.

Team leaders use global chat to make sure their opponents are ready.Once both team leaders have said "ready", the server admin can restart the match. The game begins immediately once the server restarts and map loading begins.

At half-time, this process must be repeated. Additionally, players from each team should take a screenshot of the half-time and full-time screen (where it says "you lose"/"you won"). Player Disconnects If a player disconnects from the server after the game has begun, the player must attempt to rejoin whilst the match continues. In the event that the player is unable to rejoin, a reserve must be called in to play. Only reserves/substitutes registered on your team lineup are allowed to join the game. If a registered reserve cannot be contacted and your original player is unable to rejoin, the game must continue with as many players as you have available.

In the event of a server crash, players must reconnect within 10 minutes of the server restarting. The round that was underway must be replayed. Divisions/Seedings As for COD4, however no end-of-leg-3 playoffs will be held for Bad Company 2. Game Settings as enforced by dedicated serverSettings

3.Call of Duty 4 Rules (based on AGASA XR v0.5)
1.Match Progression (Round-Robin)
Do Gaming will provide you with the name of your opponent and the map which is to be played. You must contact your opponenet and make a match booking (see: Match Bookings). A total of 24 rounds are to be played (12 on each side). All rounds must be played (even if you have already lost!) as round difference will be counted.

Once your players have arrived on the server, you should consult with your opponents as to whether they are ready to start. Players must then all take the mandatory screenshots. There will then be a 5vs5 knife round to decide which side your team will start on. The winner of the knife round determines the sides.

Players must then switch to the appropriate teams, ready-up and the match begins. After the end of the first 12 rounds, teams must swap sides and then (after an optional 10 minute break) continue to play the next 12 rounds.
2.Screenshots & Demos (pre-game and each half)
At the beginning of the match, every player must take the following screenshots:

■one scoped and one unscoped screenshot
■one screenshot showing the character models from both teams
■players must also begin recording their client-side demo (which must record the entire match)

Additionally, players from each team must take a screenshot of the half-time and full-time scoreboard. This final screenshot must be uploaded when your team submits the match score.

Every player must take these screenshots and record a client-side demo of the whole match for every single game. Random spot-checks will be requested and if you are unable to supply the requested demo/screenshot, you will be disqualified and the match overturned.
3.Player Disconnects If a player disconnects from the server after the game has begun, the game must be paused whilst the player is allowed to rejoin. In the event that the player is unable to rejoin by the time that the timeout expires, a reserve must be called in to play. Only reserves/substitutes registered on your team lineup are allowed to join the game. If a registered reserve cannot be contacted and your original player is unable to rejoin, the game must continue with as many players as you have available.

In the event of a server crash, players must reconnect within 10 minutes of the server restarting. Only the remaining rounds needed to complete a total of 24 should be replayed (i.e. you continue as you were the round before the server dropped).
4.Divisions/Seedings Teams will initially be seeded according to their 2009 results provided their team lineup remains the same (see Roster Changes). 8 teams will be allocated into each division in the following descending order:

■Premier League (#1-#Cool
■1st Division (#9-#16)
■2nd Division (#17-#24)
■3rd Division (#25-#32)
■4 x 4th Divisions (#33-#60+)

At the end of each leg, the top 2 teams from each division will be promoted to the division above theirs and the bottom 2 teams will be relegated.

NEW: Teams in divisions 2, 3 & 4 who excel in their leg may be allowed to "leap-frog" divisions if a place becomes available in a higher division.
5.Playoffs at end of Leg 1 and Leg 3
Special Playoff Rules apply at the end of Leg 1 and Leg 3. At the end of these legs, the following groups compete for their places:

■1st Division (places #5-Cool & 2nd Division (places #1-4)
■2nd Division (places #4-Cool & 3rd Division(s) (place #1 from each)

These teams compete in seperate double-elimination competitions (over a single week) and are reseeded according to their performance in the playoff.

Standard relegation/promotion rules apply to the Premier League <-> 1st Div. and 2nd Div. <-> 3rd Div. switches.

Quick Links: Match Rules :: Screenshots & Demos :: Disconnects :: Divisions :: Playoffs :: Game Settings Heroes of Newerth Rules (based on Alienware Arena Hon Cup Rules)Match Progression (Round-Robin)Organise to play your match before the match deadline in the thread on the Do Gaming League website. Players may then use any server to host a match. The hosting team may select which side to play on. If this cannot be amicably decided, a random coin-toss by an admin (or other 3rd party) may be used to determine sides. Screenshots & Demos (at end of game)As Heroes of Newerth will automatically store your match recording, all that is needed is the final screenshot at the end of the game (containing the "Defeat"/"Victory" notice) and the match identification number.

It is recommended that every player in your team take an end-of-match screenshot in case a dispute arises.

This final screenshot must be uploaded when your team submits the match score.

Player Disconnects If a player fails to load sucessfully, teams must pass a vote and remake the game. If a player disconnects from the server after the game has begun, the game must be paused whilst the player is allowed to rejoin. This is allowed once per player. Faliure to pause is unsportsmanlike and will result in penalty.

In the event that the player is unable to rejoin within 10 minutes, either team may demand that the match continue without the missing player.

If a server crashes completely, the entire match must be replayed. Divisions/Seedings In Leg 1, all teams will be randomly seeded into two pools. At the end of this leg, teams will be seeded into two divisions according to their result. Game Settings (client-controlled)Settings
